Professional Requirements
The admission requirements for the Master’s programme in Business & Economics are met by those who have obtained a university degree in the Bachelor’s programme in Business Administration at the Chemnitz University of Technology.
The admission requirements are also met by those who have obtained a university degree in the Bachelor’s programme in European Studies with Economical Sciences at the Chemnitz University of Technology and provide proof for successful completion of the examination in
- Investment Appraisal (Investitionsrechnung) (examination number: 61404)
- Finance (Finanzierung) (examination number: 61508)
- Mathematics I – Linear Algebra and Analysis and Mathematics II Optimization and Financial Mathematics (Mathematik I – Lineare Algebra und Analysis sowie Mathematik II – Optimierung und Finanzmathematik) (examination number: 20189) and
- Statistics I and Statistics II (Statistik I und Statistik II ) (examination number: 22401).
The admission requirements are also met by those who have obtained a university degree in the Bachelor’s programme in Business Administration and Engineering at the Chemnitz University of Technology and provide proof for successful completion of the examination in
- Macroeconomics I (Makroökonomie I) (examination number: 63308).
The admission requirements are also met by those who have obtained a university degree in the Bachelor’s programme in Business Information Systems at the Chemnitz University of Technology and provide proof for successful completion of the examination in
- Microeconomics I (Mikroökonomie I) (examination number: 63317)
- Macroeconomics I (Makroökonomie I) (examination number 63308)
- Investment Appraisal (Investitionsrechnung) (examination number: 61404) and
- Finance (Finanzierung) (examination number: 61508).
The Examinations Committee shall take the final decision in respect of the admission of applicants with a professional qualification in a course of study equivalent in content to one of the courses referred to above as well as the admission of other applicants.
