The university management of Chemnitz University of Technology invites to the Hartmann hall to celebrate the new winter semester 2018/19. Due to the good partnership between Chemnitz University and the Chemnitz basketball club NINERS the venue of the NINERS will be used as event location for the matriculation ceremony of the university. The invitation is addressed especially to all students, employees, alumni, friends, and partners of the university. The ceremony will take place on October 4, 2018, at 5 p.m. The entrance opens at 3.30 p.m. to give visitors the opportunity to use information offers – for example, the presentation of student initiatives and other exhibits.

After the welcoming speech of the University President, Prof. Gerd Strohmeier, the guests await a colorful program: Aside from greetings from the City of Chemnitz and the “Student_innenrat” of Chemnitz University, there will also be an interview with Chemnitz University student Rebekka Haase, who recently won the bronze medal at the European Athletics Championships in Berlin with the German 4x100-meter relay.
