As part of the Across Mobility Scholarship Programme, Chemnitz University of Technology is offering scholarships for short stays at the partner universities of the European university alliance Across. The programme aims to strengthen networking, knowledge exchange and the long-term development of cooperation among researchers within the alliance. Stays dedicated solely to carrying out research projects are explicitly not eligible for funding – the focus is on networking as well as teaching and training activities. Applications are open to doctoral candidates as well as master's students in their final year who are actively working on their master's thesis or whose thesis is due to begin during the mobility period. The stay must take place at one of the Across partner universities.
Funding is available for stays of at least one month, either as physical or as hybrid mobility. Funding is based on the Erasmus+ reference rates and comprises a travel allowance and a contribution to living costs, with maximum total funding of 1,250 euros per month of physical mobility. Details on formats, funding amounts and the documents to be submitted can be found in the call.
Application deadline: 5 August 2026
