The application period for a semester abroad in the winter semester 2023/24 or in the summer semester 2024 is still open until March 31, 2023

The Erasmus+ Program takes students to exciting places all over Europe for a semester abroad. Students at Chemnitz University of Technology have access to exchange opportunities at a total of more than 200 partner universities in 32 countries through their departments. Those who would like to start their semester abroad in the winter semester 2023/24 or summer semester 2024 with the Erasmus+ Program should apply now in their department for the exchange. After that, the application for Erasmus program participation must still be submitted to the International Office (IUZ) at Chemnitz University of Technology by March 31, 2023. Further information is available online.

Benefit from Erasmus+

The Erasmus+ Program offers many advantages - from the possibility of financial support and tuition fee waivers at the host university to recognition of study achievements and extensive organizational support.

"In particular, we are pleased with the increased funding rates of currently up to 600 euros per month and the now more extensive additional financial support in Erasmus+. In addition to students with children or physical disabilities, students from non-academic backgrounds and working students now also have the opportunity to receive an additional 250 euros per month," emphasizes Oliver Sachs, Erasmus+ coordinator at the IUZ. The IUZ offers Erasmus+ students numerous advisory and support services, preparatory meetings, and intercultural training before, during, and after their stay. In addition, the IUZ is in contact with the partner universities and is available as a point of contact to ensure that the semester abroad is an unforgettable experience.
