Vaccination on campus

Students and employees of the Chemnitz University of Technology as well as citizens can now get vaccinated without an appointment on certain days in the cafeteria on the Reichenhainer Straße campus

After the closure of the vaccination centers, there is now the possibility for students and employees of the Chemnitz University of Technology as well as citizens to get vaccinated in the cafeteria on the campus Reichenhainer Straße of the Chemnitz University of Technology.

On the scheduled dates (see below), the German Red Cross will vaccinate from 9 am to 12 pm and from 1 pm to 4 pm. A prior registration or appointment is not necessary. The vaccines used are from Biontech and Moderna; those over 60 will receive the vaccine from Johnson & Johnson.

You must bring an official identification document, your health insurance card and - if available - your vaccination booklet with you to the vaccination. Even in the case of spontaneous vaccination offers, the final decision as to whether a vaccination is carried out is always made by the vaccinating physician. In addition, those willing to be vaccinated, especially those between the ages of 14 and 18, should inform themselves in advance about the necessary documents, parental consent, and accompanying rules to ensure the feasibility of a spontaneous vaccination appointment.

More information is available online.
