Go-Abroad Fair - inform virtually about stays abroad

From 10 to 12 November 2020, the International University Center (IUZ) is organizing a virtual information fair on studying abroad together with national and international guests

Despite the effects of the corona pandemic, exchange programs and scholarships for stays abroad such as Erasmus+ and PROMOS continue to be open to all students. So if you are planning a semester abroad for the winter semester 2021/22, for example, or if you would like to find out more about studying abroad in general, the virtual "Go-Abroad Fair" of the International Office (IUZ) at Chemnitz University of Technology from 10 to 12 November 2020 is just the right place for you.

The IUZ has invited guests from partner universities in Japan, France and Italy, among others, to present their universities during the varied three-day program. In addition to the IUZ, the Leonardo Office Saxony, agencies such as the International Education Centre (IEC) and GOstralia! as well as the Studentenwerk Chemnitz-Zwickau will offer information events on topics such as internships abroad, semesters abroad and Auslands-BAföG.

"With our virtual Go-Abroad Fair, we would like to offer all students the broadest and most interesting range of information possible on the subject of stays abroad," says Oliver Sachs, Erasmus coordinator at the IUZ. "At the same time, we hope that thanks to the virtual format, as many students as possible will have the opportunity to participate in the events and presentations," Sachs continues.

The program of the virtual Go-Abroad Fair can be found on the IUZ website and in the university's calendar of events. All events will be offered in this webroom: mytuc.org/yrzs
