"There Are Many Good Reasons to Study in Chemnitz"

Chemnitz University of Technology graduate Susann Kappler, who is involved in the TU4U project, presents the university and the city from her perspective in a new video clip

University? Yes! But why choose Chemnitz? Susann Kappler from the TU4U project team has several answers to this question. "There are many good reasons for studying in Chemnitz," says the 27-year-old. She herself studied at the university from 2011 to 2018, earning a Bachelor’s degree in economics and a Master’s degree in business and economic education. Chemnitz University of Technology offers a variety of programs, scores points for its personal atmosphere and numerous offers of help at the start of studies, and is internationally established. "By studying in Chemnitz, you also benefit from our excellent reputation in the field of research, which is also useful for your later career," says the young woman.

The soft location factors are also top: "The city of Chemnitz and the university itself offer a wide range of sports and cultural activities, and with the semester ticket you can easily explore the region." In a video clip premiering at the Virtual TUCtage, Kappler presents eleven good reasons for studying in Chemnitz. "I would be delighted if many prospective students were to let themselves be infected by this and decide on Chemnitz and our university." And students and graduates of Chemnitz University of Technology who would like to give even more reasons for studying in Chemnitz are welcome to send her an e-mail:
