German Academic Writing

All students are supposed to be able to do it; and their successful completion of a degree programme largely depends on how well they can manage it: academic writing. In all subjects an introduction to scientific work is offered, but how to precisely do what the writing part is concerned, thought by thought, sentence by sentence, is hardly ever learned there. This is exactly what our course is focused on. Participants will bring their own texts; and by analysing these contributions together, all common issues about language - starting from the structure of a sentence up to the outline of a paper - will be discussed.

Important notice:
At the moment the courses are only offered in German and deal exclusively with academic writing in German!
