Awards & Support program 10th Workshop Ellipsometry

Within the scope of the Workshops it is planned for excellent contributions to lend prices:


Paul-Drude-Medal & Awards 10th Workshop Ellipsometry

An award, the "Paul Drude Medal", will be given to a young scientist for exceptional contributions to the field of ellipsometric metrology or spectroscopy.

Further prizes will be awarded for best poster and oral contributions.


Student support program 10th Workshop Ellipsometry

As part of the AKE's efforts to promote a European network of ellipsometry, financial assistance to attend the Workshop Ellipsometry (WSE) is available to students from European countries. Students (Masters, PhD) from the countries listed below are eligible to apply for one of five bursaries of Euro 300 each to contribute to the costs of attending the WSE. The bursary will be paid by bank transfer.
In addition to an oral/poster abstract, the applicant is required to submit a short text (max. 300 words) describing their research activities and explaining why attendance at the WSE would be beneficial to their research.

The deadline for application for support - together with application for an oral or poster contribution - is the December 15, 2017 extended to January 10, 2018.
