The successful series of materials technology colloquia in Chemnitz was continued in 2006. With the focus on „Composites and Material Composites“ there were numerous lectures and poster presentations on the topics of metal-matrix composites, ceramic-matrix composites and plastic-matrix composites as well as on the topics of soldering and bonding, thermal spraying, electroplating and thin-film technology.
