The Institute for Materials Science and Engineering (IWW) at Chemnitz University of Technology cordially invites you to the 25th Materials Engineering Colloquium (WTK), with the theme “Substance for the Future - Materials for Innovative Applications” ou can expect a two-day program with current research topics from the areas of:

(MMC, PMC, CMC, functionalized materials, …) -
Material behavior and analytics
(lightweight construction, material testing, microstructure characterization, fatigue and damage, ...) -
Knowledge- and data-driven modeling and the application of artificial intelligence
(Support for complex, multi-criteria decision-making; modeling of process chains; process-related uncertainties)
Abstracts of up to 200 words may be submitted for the event by October 30, 2026. (E-Mail schreiben)
The conference language is English, but contributions in German are also permitted.
