We're gladd to welcoming you to our website. The Saxon Simulation Meeting was founded by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Maik Berger in 2009. Since then, the Meeting was held annually at Chemnitz University of Technology under the leadership of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Maik Berger and Dr. Roland Jakel .

The aim of this series of events was and still is to provide an efficient platform for scientists, practitioners, students and prospective customers in the field of CAD, CAE, simulation and calculation. In addition to many information on current software products and solution strategies, there is also plenty of time for exchange ideas and discuss current problems.

Since the simulation requirements and applicable commercial software tools are developing very dynamically and they are also used in multidisciplinary field of research and teaching, our event is open to a broad professional audience and various MKS/FEM Software applications (Creo, ANSYS, ABAQUS, MARC, etc.)

On our website, you will find numerous information about out conference, tips on roduct innovations, a section "Nice to Know" as well as literature recommendations. Further, our extensive archive provides insights on all previous user presentations of DENC, PTC and SAXSIM. These are only protected by copyright and free of charge for the transfer of knowledge.

Special thanks go to our sponsors PTC, NET AG system integration, INNEO Solutions GmbH, MSC.Software GmbH as well as CADFEM GmbH. Only through their support is it possible for us to carry out the SAXSIM free of charge for all participants.

We would be delighted to welcome you at the next SAXSIM in Chemnitz, Germany.
