Research

Our research addresses practice-relevant topics, combining the strengths of "Cognitive Psychology" with the field of "Human Factors" to achieve a productive transfer of knowledge between basic and applied research.

The objective is to deepen understanding of the fundamental principles of perception and processing of visual information and to apply these insights to questions regarding human interaction with technical systems. In addition, the research focuses on value-based design and the subjective assessment of the quality of human-technology interaction. These insights are made available to companies in an application-oriented manner.
