Advice and guidance

Advice and guidance

Individual counselling, as well as counselling and support in your college, is provided by the university didactics team in individual or group counselling sessions or in the subject-specific network.

A university didactic teaching advisory service enables teachers:

  • to reflect on their own teaching and teaching development processes in a trusting framework,

  • to better understand the learning processes of students,

  • identify and analyse the causes of subject-specific obstacles to learning,

  • jointly develop tailor-made didactic solutions for subject-specific challenges in their own teaching,

  • Implementing innovative teaching and learning scenarios with the support of university didactics,

  • to exchange teaching methods with other teachers in moderated feedback rounds and collegial consultations, to develop ideas together and to transfer them to their own teaching,

  • innovate teaching in the respective subject discipline through competence-oriented teaching and curriculum development, and

  • to be supported in the preparation of applications for third-party funding for forward-looking ideas for teaching development.

For teaching advice or support for teaching processes, please contact the university didactics team.  Your concerns and the further procedure will be clarified in a confidential discussion.

Programme development

Are you planning to (further) develop your degree programme and would you and your team like a didactic perspective on possible changes? Or have you received student feedback on the degree programme that requires a didactic assessment? Or do you face challenges in the design of your degree programme that you would like to tackle together?

Contact the team of university didactics and clarify the possibilities of cooperation in an individual discussion.

Teaching support

Teaching awards, project applications or other funding increasingly require detailed descriptions of didactic concepts and concrete descriptions of teaching innovations. We support your team and you in this phase, e.g. in submitting an application for your teaching project, and advise you on funding for teaching that is known to us.
