About us

We are the FSR:IF, the students' representative council of Computer Science at the TU Chemnitz. As part of the student council (Student_innenrat, StuRa) we are also an university committee, which represents all students of the Faculty of Computer Science.

What we do:

• We help you with questions regarding your studies, as well as your study and examination regulations.
• We represent you in university committees and study commissions.
• We collect former exams and make them available for you.
• We organise the orientation week for first semester students.
• We organise networking meetings with students of other faculties, i. e. the ICE (Informatiker-Chemiker-Event) or games evenings.
• With grill evenings, christmas parties or sports activities we also care for variety of your everyday university life.
• At our office we give you the opportunity to bind (coil binding) your papers and assignments for 0.50€.
