Course Circuit Design 1

The course Circuit Design 1 (SKE1) takes place in summer semester and deals with the basic questions of the design process. After an introduction (chapter1) ASICs will be classified and given as an overview in Chapter2. Chapter 3 (Design Methodology) and 4 (Test) complete the course. The topics of the lecture are broadened in Circuit Design 2 and in Design for Testability (both in winter semester). The course is based on the book "ASIC - Entwurf und Test" (G. Herrmann and D. Müller).

The course consists of a lecture, exercise and practice session.
