Prospective students can get insight into the University at the “Open House Day” of Chemnitz University.
Many doors will be open once again at Chemnitz University of Technology on January 11, 2018. 75 events and numerous booths are in the auditorium building at Reichenhainer Straße 90 open for prospective students from 9 a.m. till 2 p.m. There they can inform themselves about studying at Chemnitz University, the location advantages of the university sites and about 99 courses of studies. For the first time, the modularized diploma program mechanical engineering is introduced, which will start in the winter semester 2018/19.
Prospective students can choose from a mix of lectures, show experiments, and hands-on offers. The International Office informs on the possibilities for a semester or internship abroad. The library presents herself as more than just a “book billionaire” and invites to a funny brand-memory or patent-quiz. For questions regarding accommodation on campus and financial situations, the Studentenwerk Chemnitz-Zwickau is on-site and will answer all questions. Furthermore, it offers a special service: All participants of the “Open House Day” are allowed to eat in the canteen at student’s prices.
