Online Chat for Prospective Students of the Faculty of Humanities

Chatting on the internet: over the next three weeks students of TU Chemnitz answer questions on all study-related matters

In terms of the number of students at Technische Universität Chemnitz, the Faculty of Humanities with its 2,513 students is the largest of the eight faculties. This faculty is also responsible for most of TU Chemnitz courses, which are 9 Bachelor and 10 Master programs. To enable prospective students to keep an overview and to quickly obtain information regarding the studies, the Faculty of Humanities provides a new way to study counseling in addition to the standard one. From now on and until July 10th, 2014 all the applicants can chat on the internet with students from Chemnitz. The online chat can be found under http://bloochat.com/studieninfos-TUC with its representatives from seven departments of the faculty talking and answering the questions. The chat is open each Monday and Thursday from 16 to 18 pm. Registration is not necessary, but a self-chosen user name must be specified. This link also takes you to the `Fachstudienberater´ and the `Fachschaftsrat´, where your questions will be answered regardless of the chat.

High school students or the prospective graduates of the Bachelor degree, who want not only learn about the Faculty of Humanities but also other areas of TU Chemnitz, can inform themselves independently about 36 Bachelor and 56 Master programs as well as the Educational Studies for Elementary Schools.
