Business English
Course Description
Level B2
The Business English level B2 programme consists of the courses Business English 1 (BE 1) and Business English 2 (BE 2). The aim of these courses is to give students a first insight into this subject-specific area including first business contacts, telephoning, economic and business structures as well as product and service descriptions, marketing and sales processes. Emphasis is also placed on professional presentations.

- Previous knowledge of the English language (A-levels as a rule)

Level C1
The Business English level C1 programme consists of the courses Business English 3 (BE 3) and Business English 4 (BE 4). In course BE 3, students discuss the topics of marketing, personnel and finance on a C1-oriented language level. These topics are taken up again within the framework of a reading project, thus, aiming at particularly contributing to the development of subject-specific and academic language skills.
Course BE 4 focuses on the use of English in professional discussions and business negotiations.
