Research
The research at the Institute of Physics focuses on basic research, but with a strong connection towards potential applications.The latter results from strong scientific collaboration and networking between various faculties and institutes at the TU Chemnitz, including the Institute of Chemistry, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, and corresponding Fraunhofer Institutes (IWU, ENAS), and also with the humanities (e. g., the Center for Sensing and Cognition).
