Magnetic sensors

Magnetic sensors are used in various technological areas. On the one hand, they are often used indirectly for accurate length, thickness, distance measurements or determination of positions (e.g. compass). On the other hand, based on the Hall effect or magnetoresistance effect, the induced magnetic field strength itself can be measured precisely (e.g. magnetic read head in Hard disk). Furthermore, dynamic resonance effects of magnetic sensors are also often applied in medicial industry(e.g. in magnetic resonance imaging).
