Living and studying in a Europeantri-border-region orthe waya new academic program pays tribute to cross-border developments in a unified Europe - based on the historical and cultural background of the tri-border-region shared by Slovenia, Austria and Hungary, the M.A.-program "Intercultural Germanistics" at the Faculty of Philosophy in Maribor will be introduced to the audience.
The shared historical and cultural roots of this border region, the situation as an intersection where three different languages meet, and the aim to promote neighboring languages within Europe where important reasons to create this M.A-prgram in Maribor. The aims andcontents, as well as the program's concept will be briefly presented and put into a European context.
