Faculty Student Council

The Faculty Student Council (Fachschaftsrat, FSR) is the student representative body of the Faculty of Humanities vis-a-vis the Student Council, the lecturers and the university.

The Faculty Student Council ha sthe following responsibilities:

 

  • Advice for students of the Faculty of Humanities on questions
    • regarding examination and study regulations
    • First semester counselling
  • Election of six representatives to the Student Council
  • Participation in the appointment of study commissions and in the election of Deans of Studies
  • Cooperation with various university committees (including the Faculty Council, Senate, Student Council)
  • Participation in the preparation of the teaching report of the Faculty of Humanities
  • Financial support for cultural, social, (university) political and sporting projects
