NC-AutoBahn - Web-based generation of NC programs through AI-driven feature recognition and automated path planning

Project subjects

• The goal of the project is to develop fully automated planning of NC code, including the automated determination of the process sequence. This involves feature recognition (such as holes, pockets, etc.), process selection, process sequence determination, as well as the generation of toolpaths and NC code, which will largely be implemented by intelligent and data-driven algorithms.

Department specific tasks

• Knowledge transfer between workers and artificial intelligence
• Development of a data collection tool
• Database system for knowledge storage
