Social networks:

Currently doing research on 360° environment perception and realtime decentralized sensor fusion for highly automated driving.

Since 2005 I participated in European and German research projects, like PReVENT IP, AKTIV, UDRIVE, Ko-HAF and Perception Network. I was responsible for vehicle perception research in a subproject of the german UR:BAN initiative (user oriented assistance systems and network management).
I am founding member of the Interdisciplinary Center for Advanced Driver Assistant Systems (I-FAS) – a joint research group of information technology and human sciences. My current research activities are connected vehicles, decentralized data fusion, federated machine learning and situation assessment for autonomous driving.
