10.000 dollars for international network Projects

International network “AC21” calls for proposals within the competition “Special Project Fund 2018” – Funding available for up to five projects

Since 2008, the international university network “Academic Consortium for the 21st Century” (AC21) in which Chemnitz University of Technology stands among the leading members, calls annually for funding proposals of up to 10,000 dollars in a competition between AC21 member universities. This year, for the first time, not only three but up to five projects will be eligible for funding. The objective of the projects to be funded is to deepen and strengthen the cooperation between the consortium partners.

Thus, one of the main preconditions for participating in the competition is the inclusion of at least three AC21 member universities from two different countries. Innovative projects in education and research are jointly organized and implemented by the project partners and not only address AC21 members but also the broad public, for example at scientific symposia.
Project applications can be send to the International Office until January 23, 2018, latest. The applications will then be submitted to the AC21 General Secretariat. The application form can be downloaded by using the following link: http://mytuc.org/bfvw.

All Chemnitz University scientists are cordially invited to participate with innovative projects in the competition and to contribute to the university’s international attractiveness and visibility.
The projects to be funded are expected to be announced by the AC21 General Secretariat in April 2018. For further information, please visit the following website: http://mytuc.org/lntd
