Premiere for the TUCfeierabend Summer Party

"Science, Sounds and Synthesizer": Chemnitz University of Technology invites students, employees and their relatives to a summer festival in a new format on June 24, 2022

Life is returning to the campus of Chemnitz University of Technology and this should be celebrated. On June 24, 2022, Chemnitz University of Technology invites you for the first time to the TUCfeierabend "Science, Sounds and Synthesizer", which is organized together with students. Starting at 3 p.m., students, employees and their relatives can look forward to a colorful program with games and sports, culinary treats, music and numerous information booths on the campus, Reichenhainer Straße 70, until midnight. Then the open space behind the Weinhold building will become a summer fairground. Admission is free.

In addition to a beer garden with green drinks and culinary offers, e.g. bubble waffles, langos and coffee specialties, there will be some special activities and games in the afternoon. The university's Center for Sports and Health Promotion, among others, will also provide sporting challenges. Not only can many prizes be won, but fitness equipment, numerous outdoor games and various fun activities can also be tried out. For bicycle fans, there will be the opportunity to pedal yourself for various smoothie creations.[BB1]  The VDE-Hochschulgruppe (university group) Chemnitz, together with the university spin-off VRENDEX, invites you to dive into virtual worlds. And for the youngest guests of the summer festival, the family service of the university has prepared a lot of handicrafts and games. All visitors can also expect a surprise package (while supplies last).

Radio UNiCC ensures a good mood in the afternoon. Starting at 6 p.m., Amipara and Karl Krøneberg will transform the Festwiese into a large dance floor to bring the summer evening to a fitting close. Both are master's students at Chemnitz University of Technology and regularly DJ in the genres of techno, organic, deep house, electronica and dub.
