Description

Photo of a smartphone user holding her smartphone in front of her face to remain anonymous

The PANDERAM project contributes to strengthening the sovereignty and freedom of choice for users when interacting with smartphones and apps. To ensure this, the actual use of their own data is made visible and assessable. At the same time, users are given alternatives and options for action to improve their own security and data protection. This information is combined in a security and analysis center. Here, information is made available through interactive dialogues, presented in a usable form and adapted to individual preferences.

In the PANDERAM project, the Professorship of Cognitive Psychology and Human Factors will be responsible for the user-centered design process of the security and analysis center. The research focus is on the specification of behavioral levels and the derivation and evaluation of user-specific actions.
