Improvement of study quality

3rd student survey in Saxony currently running

A large portion of students enrolled in Saxon universities received a letter of Saxony’s State Minister for Higher Education, Research and the Arts Dr. Eva-Maria Stange, and was invited to participate in the 3rd student survey in Saxony. The survey is carried out by the “Kompetenzzentrum für Bildungs- und Hochschulforschung” (educational and university research) under the leadership of Prof. Karl Lenz. The random chosen students have received the access data individually.

Focal points of the large-scale online survey are topics such as “study situation and teaching quality”, “choice of study and study location”, “Digitalization of teaching”, and the organization of “transition from bachelor to master studies”.

The systematical survey is supposed to contribute to a comprehensive overall view on the situation of students in Saxony and to reveal strengths and weaknesses of the courses. The knowledge gained will contribute to the further development of the university education in Saxony and at the universities.

In order to get a comprehensive view on the students situation, it is important that all invited students participate. The University Management asks to support and participate in the survey.
