More Digital Support For International Students
Survey on DigiAssist and other services for Internationals started – platform DigiAssist for Internationals was complemented by FAQs on master’s program “Advanced Manufacturing” and Czech glossary
As part of the „TUCinterdigital“ project of the International Office (IUZ) of Chemnitz University of Technology, DigiAssist shall be created as a landing page for international students and PhD students that brings together and sustainably enhances existing consultation and continuing education services in one place. The aim is to make the information and communication platform as student-friendly as possible. An online survey is currently being conducted on DigiAssist, the study conditions for international students at the university and student life in Chemnitz. This survey is offered in German and English, is anonymous and takes about ten minutes.
The results should help to find out to what extent support services of Chemnitz University of Technology need to be improved, adapted or rethought. Furthermore, another focus is on what starting points there are to further increase social integration. All international students at Chemnitz University of Technology are invited to participate.
Extension of the FAQ section by including course-related questions on “Advanced Manufacturing”
In addition, a new FAQ on the master’s degree program “Advanced Manufacturing” has extended the platform “DigiAssist”. This platform is also open for offers of all study programs of Chemnitz University of Technology. Academic advisors and student groups of other degree programs can also get involved in the project to create additional digital consultation opportunities.
Multilingual university glossary extended by Czech translation
DigiAssist now also offers a Czech glossary. The multilingual university glossary explains important university terms, including already in Arabic, Bulgarian, Bengali, Chinese, English or Portuguese. International students of Chemnitz University of Technology are invited to complete translations of the glossary into their respective national language to support their fellow students.
