Short biography:
Prof Marcio Vidotti is PhD in Chemistry (Physical-Chemistry) obtained at the University of São Paulo (Brazil), under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Susana I. Córdoba de Torresi. He had two post doctoral periods under the supervision of prof. Dr. Lauro T. Kubota at University of Campinas (Brazil), and at the University of Warwick, UK under the supervision of Professors Patrick Unwin and Julie Macpherson. He has experience in Chemistry, with emphasis on Electrochemistry and Interfaces, Spectroscopy, Nanomaterials and Surfaces. His research areas include: sensors and biosensors, electrocatalysis, nanostructured materials, interfacial electrochemistry, conductive polymers, extraction phases and energy storage devices. He is one of the leaders of the Research Group on Macromolecules and Interfaces. He is currently an associate professor at the Department of Chemistry at the Federal University of Paraná.
