Prof. Dr. Angelika C. Bullinger-Hoffmann from Chemnitz University of Technology helps prepare young female executives for management positions in digital professions as a sponsor and mentor of the state program Sachsen Digital: Mit Frauen in Führung.
With the program Sachsen Digital - Mit Frauen in Führung (Saxony Digital: With Women in Leadership), the Free State of Saxony aims to qualify young female executives so that they can take on management tasks in the field of digital transformation in the future. Ten female mentors serve as role models and mentors in the program, including Prof. Dr. Angelika C. Bullinger-Hoffmann, Head of the Professorship of Ergonomics and Innovation Management at Chemnitz University of Technology.
Bullinger-Hoffmann has more than 15 years of leadership experience, including in the acquisition and coordination of national and international projects. Her outstanding expertise as a researcher - especially in the field of "The Future of Work" - has made her a member of the National Academy of Science and Engineering - acatech, a member of the supervisory board of Paul Hartmann AG, and a sought-after consultant and speaker.
As part of the Sachsen Digital - Mit Frauen in Führung program, she is mentoring a young woman from the field of administration. "I'm delighted to be taking part in the program because I want to pass on my experience and am very much behind the intention of this program to network women in leadership positions in the field of digitization," says Bullinger-Hoffmann.
Ten women are being supported in the current round of the program, including the head of the Mittelstand-Digital Center Chemnitz at Chemnitz University of Technology, Luise Weißflog. An initial kick-off took place in Dresden on February 1, 2023. Here, the participants and mentors exchanged ideas about the goals and content of the program.
