The bachelor programmes are aimed at providing solid, fundamental academic knowledge of concepts and their application. The master programmes are marked by their orientation towards research.

Regardless of course of study, all students are taught contents beyond their field and faculty and obtain insight into economics, computer science, engineering, and psychology. Not only do students benefit from the excellent student-faculty ratio and the favorable costs of living in Chemnitz, but also from the particular profile of the Faculty of Humanities: contemporary relevance with a historical conscience, connected to the region and linked to the world.

High standards of scientific qualification and flexibility in conceptual and methodical approaches make our alumni desired employees well beyond the region and give them the best opportunities for being accepted into MA and Ph.D. programmes to further their academic careers.
