GENED 2024

Tenth Meeting of the German Network for New Economic Dynamics (GENED)

We are very pleased to announce that the 10th GENED (German Network for New Economic Dynamics) meeting will take place in Chemnitz (Chemnitz University of Technology) this year. The conference will feature a tutorial by Jean-Philippe Bouchaud on "Topics in complexity economics" as well as many interesting contributed talks.

We welcome submissions on the topics related to new economic dynamics in the broadest sense: the development and application of computational models of economic dynamics based on interacting heterogeneous agents, including empirical contributions and applications of new methods in the context of economic dynamics.

Monday, September 30th to Wednesday, October 2nd 2024

Venue:

Altes Heizhaus, Chemnitz University of Technology (see map)

How to get to Chemnitz:

Chemnitz does not have an airport, but is conveniently reachable by train or car. The venue and two of the recommended hotels are around the corner from Chemnitz central station (Chemnitz Hauptbahnhof), one hotel (Seaside-Residenz) is next to Chemnitz Süd, one short train station away from Chemnitz central station. If you have to travel by plane, the closest airports are Dresden (DRS) and Leipzig/Halle (LEJ) with Berlin-Brandenburg (BER) being a bit further away.
