Meet the microrobots primed to take down cancer
Sperm, bacteria, bubbles, and shuttles are just some of the latest cancer-treating microrobots in development for human use in the next few years. With expertise in engineering and micro-nanotechnology, Oliver Schmidt from Chemnitz University of Technology felt at home designing tiny artificial engines, but he wondered if there were other kinds of powerful motors he could look to for inspiration.
