Erasmus+ application for semester abroad (programme participation and funding)  

The application process for stays in 2026/27 begins on 1 December 2025 and ends on 31 March 2026.

Semester abroad period: Winter semester 2026/2027 or summer semester 2027

Application step 1: Apply for an exchange place at one of the Erasmus+ partner universities in your own department with your Erasmus+ subject coordinator (see planning calendar).

Application step 2: Online application to IUZ for Erasmus+ programme participation and funding until 31 March 2026

Application step 2 – Procedure: Please complete the online application and send the printed and (digitally) signed application form as a PDF document by email to oliver.sachs@iuz.tu-chemnitz.de by 31 March 2026 the latest.

The application platform is provided by the Company SOP Mobility-Online GmbH, Schönbrunner Straße 297/1/4/2, 1120 Wien, Österreich, Austria. Here you find the SOP data protection regulations.

For applicants with physical/psychological disabilities: If you may not be able to complete the online application successfully due to existing physical limitations, we will be happy to provide you with a non-online alternative.
