Embedded systems can be adapted to the requirements of high dynamic reconfigurable applications. For this purpose reconfiguration procedures are analyzed which cover functionality as well as interfaces of specific applications at runtime.
The dependability of embedded systems is of high importance. At the professorship of computer engineering approaches for high system robustness are defined. Therefore hardware as well as software components are developed.
