Partnership
The partnership covers 8 European regions from Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Latvia, Estonia, Czech Republic and Sweden, all of them with common RIS3 smart specialization priorities.
Partners will undertake a joint learning and collaboration process, involving regional and national stakeholders, that will contribute to the design and implementation of 8 Action plans in their respective territories to improve policy instruments that will positively affect RII and improve their accessibility by SMEs.
Aster fosters industrial research,
technology development and the improvement of skilled professionals and careers in
technology transfer and innovation fields.
BPD is regional development agency working with industry,
knowledge institutions and public authorities to strengthen the
Brainport Eindhoven technology region.
VPR is a regional administrative authority. It ensures regional planning and
cooperation between municipalities, governmental institutions, entrepreneurs, NGOs.
City of Tartu promotes innovation, entrepreneurship and knowledge-based
production and services. Tartu is the business and technology hub in Southern Estonia.
Flanders Make is the strategic research centre for the manufacturing
industry in Flanders. It performs research projects with industry and university partners.
Region Skåne is responsible for healthcare, public transport and
regional development. We lead Skåne's work with smart specialization.
CEITEC of the Brno University of Technology is a scientific centre in the
fields of life sciences, advanced materials and technologies.
MERGE at Chemnitz University, a National Cluster of Excellence, performs
innovation projects and technology transfer in the fields of advanced manufacturing.
