Abstract:
In this note we solve a Müntz type problem by the use of classical Bernstein polynomials and we use our focus to prove that in certain cases the simultaneous diophantine approximation of functions is possible also when we delete an infinite set of powers $\{x^{\alpha_i}\}$. The proofs are easy and constructive.
