Description
Only about one-third of patients undergoing psychotherapeutic treatment achieve lasting therapeutic success, with diagnosis and treatment progress monitoring still relying on subjective reports and observations. These time-consuming and error-prone methods often lead to lengthy, ineffective treatment cycles and high relapse rates, which place a burden on the healthcare system due to prolonged treatment times and high costs. The aim of the project is to develop a market-ready AI-based app that uses voice recordings from therapeutic consultations and sessions as biomarkers for the diagnosis of mental illness and for the orientation of therapy and therapy monitoring, thereby achieving better therapy results. In addition, the app is designed to support matchmaking between patients and therapists as well as the selection of the form of therapy, which reduces the trial-and-error principle. Patients are to be supported in self-care beyond therapy sessions through personalised self-help coaching.
