Optik und Photonik kondensierter Materie

Die Gruppe "Optik & Photonik kondensierter Materie" am Institut für Physik der TU Chemnitz beschäftigt sich mit der Wechselwirkung von Licht und Feststoffen. Wir untersuchen ungeordnete und teil-geordnete Materialien auf Basis organischer, anorganischer oder hybrider Halbleiter. Wichtige Anwendungen unserer Thematik sind Solarzellen, die Licht in elektrische Energie umwandeln, sowie Leuchtdioden, die umgekehrt elektrische Energie in Licht konvertieren.
