Practicalities
Finances
There is no participation fee for the SoDoc workshop. Participants are though responsible for covering their own travel, accommodation and dinner expenses. If you are unable to meet these costs, you are welcome to contact us to discuss possible support options.
Opening event
The opening event, including welcoming addresses and keynote lectures, will take place on 18 August 2025 at the University Library in Chemnitz. The venue is located at Straße der Nationen 33, 09111 Chemnitz, just a five-minute walk from the main train station.
Sessions and workshops
The remaining workshop days, from 19 to 21 August 2025, will take place at the Weinhold-Bau, located at Reichenhainer Straße 70. It can be reached via the tram stops TU Campus 2A or TU Campus 2B. A car park of TU Chemnitz is also available in the immediate vicinity.
Rooms
Our main meeting room will be C.25.044. The workshop will also be hold here. The group sessions take place in the following rooms: C.25.065, C.25.066, C.25.034, C.25.035. Keynotes, besides the opening keynote take place in C.25.014.

Catering
We will provide some snacks and drinks throughout the workshop. You can grab lunch at the Mensa. Additionally, we will arrange a dinner reservation for Monda, costs will be covered.

We have reserved a selection of rooms at Seaside Residenz Hotel, which can be easily booked using the keyword “SoDoc 2025”. For this, please contact the hotel via phone or email (info@residenzhotelchemnitz.de).
