Beschreibung

DECOMOBIL aims at developing and widely disseminate knowledge in the area of human centred design of information and communication technologies for sustainable transport. Expected impacts of DECOMOBIL are: widening the market for information and communication technologies based mobility and transport services; contributing to the development and the widespread of user-friendly innovative nomadic services, impacting bicycles, public transport and car-sharing use. The project will set up design recommendations for the next generation of cooperative systems and for the improvement of integrated road transport system.

The activities in DECOMOBIL will provide understanding on acceptability and usability of information and communication technologies for the population. The project will organize several scientific seminars and international conferences, define road mapping for future research priorities, reflect on joint research initiatives, and contribute to the eSafety forum. The DECOMOBIL will work for cleaner and safer mobility through identification, discussion and dissemination of updated know-how in human-machine interaction and human centred design areas towards the intelligent transportation systems community at European and international level.

Focus areas of the professorship of Cognitive & Engineering Psychology within the project DECOMOBIL:

•  Participate in the scientific seminars and international conferences

•  Contribute to the road map for future research priorities

•  Organisation of a thematic seminar: Electric mobility system in different scenarios
