Career Counselling

Your are looking for an inspiring internship or job? Or you don't know which area is the right one for you? We are there to assist. We help you to plan your career and provide you with useful information on your application in Germany.

Your questions

  • What do I want?
  • What are my skills?
  • Where do I want to work?
  • How do I apply?
  • How do I prepare for a job interview?

Our service for international Students

  • career appointments
  • CV and cover letter guidance
  • advice for your job interview
  • information on regional employers

To book an individual appointment send an email to cs-beratung@tu-chemnitz.de.

In order to be able to advice you, we need a CV from you as current as possible – or your complete application documents, which may include other documents such as cover sheet, cover letter and attachments. In this context, we would also like to refer you to our privacy policy (Part 2 | Point 5). There is a detailed description of how personal data is used by us for advice and mediation. To provide us with your documents, you have the following options:
  • Bring it printed out to your appointment.
  • Upload your documents into the TUCcloud using the link provided here. Please make sure that the individual file names include your name so that we can easily assign them to you.
  • If you send your application documents to your advisor by e-mail in advance of the consultation, there is no content encryption – even if you use your university e-mail address. Do you use an external e-mail provider, there is an additional risk that your documents will be stored on a server outside of Germany or the EU. So be aware: Sending application documents by e-mail is not in compliance with data protection.
