[English below] Die Einführungsveranstaltung für das Seminar HRM Research (Modul 5) wird am Dienstag, den 10.10.2023 von 13:45 – 15:15 Uhr (Gruppe 1 und Gruppe 2) in Raum 2/N001 stattfinden. Das Seminar wird jeweils am 16.11/17.11. (Gruppe 1) und 23.11./24.11. (Gruppe 2) als Präsenzveranstaltung stattfinden. Von Montag, den 02.10.2023, 20:00 Uhr bis Freitag, den 06.10.2023, 20:00 Uhr wird über OPAL eine Einschreibung in den Kurs möglich sein (Einschreibung in Gruppe 1 oder Gruppe 2). Die Einschreibung ist verpflichtend. Die exakten Seminartermine und -räume entnehmen Sie nach der Einschreibung bitte der OPAL-Gruppe. Die Themenverteilung erfolgt im Rahmen der Einführungsveranstaltung. Bitte beachten Sie, dass eine Teilnahme an der Einführungsveranstaltung obligatorisch für die weitere Teilnahme am Seminar ist.
The kickoff session for the seminar HRM Research will take place on Tuesday, 10.10.2023 from 1:45 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. (Group 1 and Group 2) in room 2/N001. The seminar will take place on 16th & 17th of November (Group 1) / 23rd & 24th of November (Group 2) . Registration to the course will be possible from Monday, 02.10.2023, 8 p.m. to Friday, 06.10.2023, 8 p.m. via OPAL . You will be able to register for group 1 or group 2. OPAL registration is mandatory. The exact seminar dates and rooms can be found in the OPAL group after registration. The distribution of topics will take place during the kick-off session. Please note that participation in the introductory event is mandatory for further participation in the seminar.

Aktuelles zur Forschung
From 20.-22.09.2023 our team took part at the Autumn Workshop of the Commission “Personnel Management” (WK Pers) within the “German Academic Association for Business Research” (VHB) which took place at the ESCP Business School and the Harnack-Haus in Berlin. Our newest short paper was presented: „Antecedents and adoption of a Common Good HRM approach in small- and mediumsized family firms“ (Co-authors: Hanna Sauer (TUC), Prof. Dr. Nina Katrin Hansen (TUC)). Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Nina Katrin Hansen and Prof. Dr. Kai Bohrmann (University of Bielefeld) organized the Early Career Workshop for Post-Docs and Asisstant Professors. A big "thank you" to our three excellent guest speakers and also to the organizers, Prof. Marion Festing and her team, for hosting a great conference!

We are delighted that our two short papers "Antecedents and Adoption of a Common Good HRM Approach in Small- and Medium-Sized Family Firms" (Co-authors: Sauer, H & Hansen, N. K.) as well as "Meaningful Work During Telework: A Qualitative Study on the Influence of Leaders’ Behaviors on Meaningful Work During Working from Home" (Co-authors: Fronczek, S., Sauer, H. & Hansen, N. K.) have been accepted at the 39th EGOS (European Group for Organization Studies) Colloquium 2023 on the topic of "Organizing for the Good Life: Between Legacy and Imagination", hosted by the University of Cagliari, Italy.

Juni 2022: Wir freuen uns sehr, dass Simon Fronczek (Doktorand und wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Professur BWL6) den "Best Reviewer Award" der Organizational Behavior Special Interest Group (OB SIG) auf der EURAM-Konferenz 2022 erhalten hat. Wir gratulieren zu dieser tollen externen Anerkennung!

Wir freuen uns sehr, dass unsere beiden eingereichten Full Paper bei der diesjährigen EURAM (European Academy of Management) Konferenz 2022 zum Thema „Leading Digital Transformation“ angenommen wurden: 1) Das Paper „A Qualitative Empirical Analysis of the Influence of Virtual Leaders on Their Employees‘ Perception of Meaningful Work“ wird im „Positive and Negative Organizational Behavior“ Track (Co-Autoren: Simon Fronczek, Hanna Sauer & Prof. Dr. Nina Katrin Hansen) präsentiert. 2) Das Paper „Human Resource Management System Hybrids in Family Firms: A Qualitative Study of Small and Medium-Sized Companies in Germany“ wird im „Family Business Research“ General Track vorgestellt. Co-Autoren sind hier Hanna Sauer und Prof. Dr. Nina Katrin Hansen sowie unsere erfolgreiche Studierendengruppe - Julia Kulachek, Christoph Maurer and Luisa Reichel - aus einem unserer letzten Anwendungsprojekte im Master „Management & Organization Studies“ (MOS).

K.) im Sub-theme 47: “Orgachines?!” Organizational Decision-making and Machine Algorithms“ beim 38. EGOS (European Group for Organization Studies) Kolloquium 2022 zum Thema „Organizing: The Beauty of Imperfection“ an der WU Wien angenommen wurde!
