VELL - Virtual Environment Learning Lab

The Virtual Environment Learning Lab (VELL) brings together state-of-the-art infrastructure for the research and development of immersive Extended Reality (XR) experiences. With a dedicated motion-tracking hall, XR development workstations, custom-designed interfaces for XR interaction (including specialized controllers and simulator setups), a fabrication lab, and facilities for psychophysiological measurement, VELL offers optimal conditions for conducting innovative user studies. As a central facility of the Faculty of Humanities at TU Chemnitz, it is open to both researchers and students interested in XR and user-centered design.
