Chair of Fluid Mechanics

The chair of Fluid Mechanics is part of the faculty of Mechanical Engineering which is responsible for education in Fluid Mechanics. The chair offers a series of optional courses and elective subjects like Advanced Fluid Mechanics, Experimental Methods of Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics, Dimensional Analysis and Rheology.

The research topics of this group are theoretical, numerical and experimental investigations of fluids. Currently, developing and analysis of atomizers and nozzles to generate sprays is one of the applied research areas at the group of Fluid Mechanics. Besides, modern optical flow measurement techniques are developed or modified.
