Electrochemical Sensors for Multi-Ions for Detection in Environmental Applications (ESMIDEA)

Project Overview

Severe climate changes result in serious and devastating environmental issues, which threatens many regions of the world, case of both Tunisia and Germany. One of the most common environmental issues between Germany and Tunisia is water pollution resultant mainly from floods and landslides. In the last year, both countries suffered from flash flooding , which can have disastrous consequences on both individuals and communities. When floods occur, chemical and other hazardous substances end up in water. In this context, the aim of the project is to promote the mobilty of a group of Tunisian students for research stays in Germany to carry out investigations and experimental analysis in the field of electrchemical sensors for multi-ions detection in the aim to monitor water quality.
