How to Team with Your Robot? - Exploring Challenges and Opportunities for (Inclusive) Design of Human-Robot-Interaction
#Robotic 🤖 assistance is becoming increasingly relevant across industries, medicine, and other fields. As part of this years conference Mensch und Computer, we co-organized a #workshop entitled “How to Team with Your Robot? – Exploring Challenges and Opportunities for (Inclusive) Design of Human-Robot-Interaction” together with our colleagues Sascha Kaden, Romina Poguntke, Katrin Lohan, Frieder Loch, and Manuel Giuliani.
Our workshop examined human-machine teaming through the lens of human-human collaboration and explores multimodal interaction approaches for inclusive design. We focused on developing a shared understanding of inclusive human-robot interaction, engaged in an experiment to highlight teaming dynamics and discussed technologies like #AI and emotion recognition for intention prediction. Here, we heard four position talks and a inspiring keynote.
We would like to thank the presenters Henny Admoni, Dr. Aike Horstmann, Tom Pfister, Rachel Ringe and Paula Bräuer. We really enjoyed the talks and the discussions 😊.
