Teaching Plan
The lecture and exercises will be held in every summer semester. The lectures and exercises are organized in:

  • Lecture: 2 hours per week in the semester
  • Exercise: 2 hours per week in the semester

OPAL-System
Advanced Fluid Mechanics

Mastery Goals
Students have an in-depht insight into movement behavior of flows and are familiar with derivation and the basic solutions of fundamental fluidic equations.

Admission Requirements
None, but a rudimentary knowledge of fluid mechanics is recommendable.

Exam
The course is passed if students attend at the final oral exam and do it successfully.

According to the current situation, the courses (face-to-face events) will start in May at the earliest. Until then the scipts and chapters of the courses, which can be found in the menue item Courses, can be used for self-study.

Type of Course Day Time Place Calendar Week

Lecture

Monday 15:30 - 17:00 2/D201 (C24.201) weekly
Exercise Wednesday 07:30 - 09:00 2/D201 (C24.201) weekly

Teaching documents can be found in the OPAL-System. Access requires an enrollment in the course and a password, which will be announced in the lecture.
